We're here to recap a PPV with not one, but two major main events that by their powers combined manage to undo the enjoyment of the entire rest of the show.
This is not the feeling that Cesaro sacrificed a tooth for.
Well it looks like they waited till we made it through the 200th episode before doing a whole bunch of things worth talking about. Now we have a TLC PPV, a title change happening on Raw, a Vince McMahon sighting, and probably the best free TV match to happen this year all in the span of two days.
We're almost to the grad 200th episode, but first we have to make it through the 199th episode. And it looks like Raw got a tiny bit better but does that mean we should forgive it for everything that has been going down? Let's go now to Mick Foley for the answer.
Survivor Series played out excatly like everyone predicted. So the big question here is, will things continue to go exactly as predicted, or will we possibly get a swerve or two some time between here and mania?
Last week we predicted the winner of each match on the card. This week we realize that we were 100% correct with our predictions. Next week we'll be in Vegas. Logical thought progression right? Download
As always, the week before leading up to a PPV, we predict the winners of each and every match announced on the card. We sometimes agree, sometimes disagree, but this time, we have to decide the winner of the chamber. Don't worry. Nobody on the podcast WANTS Orton two win. The difficulty comes in deciding if WWE is going to go with the crowd (Bryan) or with...Anybody out there want Orton to be champ?
After a week off, we're back with a special double length episode to make up for it. In our longest episode to date, we discuss the past week's of Raw, TNA's current problems, reactions to Total Divas, and more, all with the help of our very special guest Chasity Taylor who you can follow at @chasitytaylorr on twitter.
As we approach SummerSlam, talk Daniel Bryan, RVD, Cena's title reign, and Joel does the unthinkable by saying something positive about Sheamus, only to be topped by Chris a few minutes later when he goes off topic on a Star Wars rant as you'll hear. So tune in, to this groundbreaking CRA episode.
This week we welcome a brand new special guest onto the podcast. We talk about Jonah's love of The Undertaker, his hatred of Hogan, another discussion in our continuing series of Sheamus hatred, and have a special, musical surprise from our guest.
In what might be the most unexpected thing to happen all year, we come of of a great episode of Raw, to see another, pretty good episode of Raw. I don't know who's in the writer's room there, these days, but I hope it's a while before they get fired.
Payback and Raw were loaded, so we have to cram, Punk's return, Mark Henry's retirement, A McMahon struggle, some rather excellent Diva development, the RVD announcement, and the best WHC match in recent memory all into a single hour.
As we approach Payback, we take a look at the rapidly growing card for this weekend, ponder what CM Punk might be doing, and come to an, unavoidable realization about the character of Sheamus.
Guest Blair returns to the Classy Ring Attire Podcast for an extended episode where we talk e about everything wrestling related we can think of. From The great Sheamus/Henry rematch, to what may be Hogan's greatest "old man" moment to date. Yes even the likes of NXT, and TNA are discussed here. So buckle in kiddies, It's gonna be a great ride.
With a PPV that Chris says may be in his Top Five (Joel prefers Top Six) We talk about everything from the lowest of the lows (Unannounced tag team match) to the highest of the highs (which I guess would be the top of the cell)
And then it's on to the realm of video games where our heroes give their first reactions to the new WWE 13. Come for the witty banter, stay to help Joel answer the Lita question he ponders.
It's the state of the WWE address. Lots about Punk in there including a DVD, and the punching of people. (non in ring people) We get to see Vince in the ring, and while R-Truth may have toned down the crazy much to our dispair, it looks like Mr. McMahon's crazy is all still there.
For this episode, since we don't have a gimmick to play off of from WWE (without 13 PPVs the wait till Hell in a Cell seems REALLY LONG this year) we've decided to give you an almost completely unedited episode of Classy Ring Attire. Tangents are still there. Dropped Cues are still there. Chris being unhelpful is still there. All for your entertainment.
